What is the price guide?
Every home on Ostrich has a price guide to help buyers understand your position.
We recommend you set your price guide at the level you would need to receive offers at to seriously consider selling.
By setting your price guide at an appropriate level, you can help manage buyer expectations and increase the quality of offers you receive.
How to set your price guide and auto-reject level
1. To set your price guide first switch to 'Seller' mode by selection 'Switch to Seller'.
2. Within Seller mode, navigate to 'Manage listing'. From here you can adjust your price guide.
3. Click the 'Edit' button next to your price guide. This will allow you to change the price guide for your home to one that is reflective of the offers you would like to receive.
4. Clicking 'Next' will allow you to set your auto-reject level. We will automatically reject any offers below this level. If you wish to receive all offers regardless of their level, select ‘Send Me All Offers’ and select ‘Save’.
Setting your auto-reject level
When a buyer makes a viewing request on your home, they must include an indicative offer. To avoid receiving offers that may be too far below your expectations, you can set an auto-reject level. We will automatically reject all viewing requests with indicative offers below this level.
You can choose to automatically reject offers below:
- Your Price Guide
- 10% below your Price Guide
- 20% below your Price Guide
If you wish to receive all offers regardless of their level, select ‘Send Me All Offers’ and select ‘Save’.
