The Ostrich approach
Our goal is to provide an impartial and accurate view of your property’s current market value. On the day of your listing appointment, our photographer will ask you a few questions about your property and capture a video for our valuation team.
Our valuation team will use this information, along with your floor plan and photos, to identify unique factors that might affect value, such as recent improvements, ceiling heights, or period features.

We combine these property-specific insights with data from comparable sales and broader market trends to determine a fair and evidence-based valuation.
Setting your Price Guide
We’ll share our analysis and recommended Price Guide when we send you a preview of your listing. But don't worry, you are in control and we are happy to update the Price Guide to align with your expectations before your listing goes live.
We won’t pressure you to list at a certain price or suggest reductions before you’re ready. The homeowners who list with us typically aren't in a rush to sell and will only be tempted to move if they achieve the right price to support their onward purchase.
Updating your Price Guide
With Ostrich, you control your Price Guide and can update it any time through your Seller Account. There’s no visible price history for buyers, so you can adjust your price without any concerns. And if you ever need advice on your home’s changing value, our valuation team is always here to help.
