You can manage your viewings easily in your Ostrich account. You’ll find them in your Upcoming viewings section in the main menu. Just pick the one you want to change, select Manage viewing, and you’ll be able to reschedule or cancel from there.
How do I cancel a viewing?
If you no longer wish to view the property, you can easily cancel the viewing. We’ll ask you to select a reason, just to give the homeowner a little context. Once you confirm, the viewing will be cancelled immediately, and the homeowner will be notified.
We understand the property may no longer be right for you, but if possible, please cancel as early as you can. Since homeowners host viewings themselves, they’ll be busy preparing their home for your visit and will have set aside time to show you around.
How do I reschedule a viewing?
If your original viewing time no longer suits, but you’d still like to view the property, you can choose to reschedule rather than cancel. The initial booking will be cancelled right away, and the owner will be notified that you're hoping to pick a new time.
Your request to reschedule will be sent to the homeowner to review. If they’re happy to move forward, you’ll receive an email with their latest availability so you can choose a new time that works for you. If they’re no longer able to accommodate a viewing for any reason, we’ll let you know that too.
When you pick a new time, you’ll receive a viewing confirmation email with all the details.
What if the owner needs to cancel?
If an owner decides not to go ahead with the viewing, you’ll be notified by email and text, along with the reason for the cancellation. We encourage owners to give as much notice as they can, as we know it can be frustrating when you’ve planned your day around it.

If something changes on the homeowner’s side and they need to reschedule, you’ll be notified by email and text that the original viewing has been cancelled. As soon as the homeowner has confirmed their latest viewing availability, you’ll be able to rebook at a time that suits you.
