When you're ready to move forward, you can submit a formal offer by filling out our simple offer form.
Before you do, it’s worth taking a moment to make sure you're completely happy with the property. A second viewing can be really helpful, maybe at a different time of day or with someone else for a second opinion.
If anything’s unclear, it’s a great time to ask questions before making things official. If you need to talk things through, you can always reach the team at hello@ostrich.co.uk or 020 3695 2753.
What you’ll need to include
Offer amount
Let us know how much you’d like to offer for the property!
Buyer names
Include the full names of everyone who will be buying the property. If it's someone other than you, that’s totally fine, just pop their details into the form. If we haven’t been in touch with them before, it’s helpful to include their email and phone number too.
Funding
Let us know how you plan to fund the purchase. If you’ve got a mortgage in principle, tell us how much will be covered by that and how much will be a cash deposit. If you’re a cash buyer, let us know if that depends on selling another property - and if so, how far along you are in that sale.
Timeline
Share your ideal timing for the move. If you chatted about this with the homeowner during your viewing, feel free to include those details. If you’re flexible, that’s super useful to know too.
Anything else!
This is your space to include anything extra you'd like the homeowner to know, big or small.
What happens next?
Once you’ve submitted your offer, we’ll pass it on to the owner. A member of our team will be in touch as soon as there’s a response.
It may take a few days for the owner to review and consider your offer. If your offer isn’t accepted straight away, there may still be an opportunity to revise it. This depends on what other offers have been made and how the owner wants to move forward. If several offers come in, the owner might choose to set a deadline for final offers. We’ll always keep you updated!
We always do our best to be as transparent as possible, and we’re just at the end of the phone if you need us. Finding a new home is a big deal, and we never want you to feel left in the dark. If you’d like an update on your offer or have a question at any point, just get in touch.
